Michael Weeks, an amateur historian with a passion for the road, is the author of Th e Complete Civil War Road Trip Guide (Countryman), which the History Book Club called “A Civil War buff ’s dream come true.” He is a member of the Chicago’s Writer’s Association, serves as a trustee of the Civil War Round Table of Chicago, and is on the board of the Camp Douglas Restoration Foundation.
