Sandra Friend and Kathy Wolf

Travel writers Sandra Friend and Kathy Wolf provide opinionated, authoritative recommendations for travelers of every taste and budget, from Orlando's themed attractions all the way up to the Panhandle in the northwest and Jacksonville in the northeast, and every destination in between. From waterfalls to the most beautiful beaches or the best theme park, the authors lead travelers beyond the typical tour package trips and sightseer haunts, into the near and far reaches of this diverse and remarkable state.

This guide from the popular Explorer's Guide series includes hundreds of dining recommendations, from roadside eateries to fine cuisine. Opinionated listings of inns, B&Bs, hotels, vacation cabins, and campgrounds are also featured.

Sandra Friend is a freelance writer and photographer whose work has appeared in Blue Ridge Country, Backpacker and other publications. She is also the author of 50 Hikes in North Florida, 50 Hikes in Central Florida, and 50 Hikes in South Florida. She lives in Dunnellon, Florida. Kathy Wolf is a technical writer with more than 15 years experience, working for such major companies as IBM and Motorola.
